Eligibility Criteria

Fellowship applicant eligibility guidelines are outlined in Section III A of the ACGME Program Requirements booklet. We also accept applications from exceptionally qualified individuals as described in the ACGME program requirements booklet.
Must demonstrate a strong commitment to the care of Hospice and Palliative Medicine patients.
Must demonstrate ability to speak fluent English.
Must be eligible for a Missouri Medical License.
Must hold a valid ECFMG certificate by January 1.
Must obtain visa prior to program start date.

Personal statement
Three letters of recommendations from persons familiar with your clinical performance, at least one of these must be from your Residency Director
Transcript and Dean’s letter of reference (MSPE)
USMLE or COMLEX scores
Recent photograph

Personalized Interview Day

When you call to arrange an interview, you will be asked about your needs and interests. A personalized interview day will be created for you. You can expect interviews with faculty and fellows and tours of our hospitals and clinics. Lodging will be provided and can be arranged when you call to set up the interview. You will also have the opportunity to dine with members of the fellowship the night before your interview.
