  • Why did I choose this program? I was drawn to this program for its welcoming and supportive environment, strong focus on resident and fellow education, and commitment to wellness. The faculty and staff are deeply invested in teaching, mentorship, and fostering a space where trainees feel heard, valued, and supported. The opportunity to train in a collaborative and inclusive setting—while remaining close to my family in St. Louis—made it an ideal fit for both personal and professional growth.

  • Hobbies: I enjoy gardening, traveling, and exploring diverse cuisines from around the world.

  • Why did I choose this program? I chose this program because of the friendly atmosphere shared by residents and staff alike! The city of Columbia is the perfect mix of "small town" and "big city," making it a great place to call home. This also allows for a very diverse group of patients to learn from!

  • Why did I choose this program? The people! the faculty and residents are welcoming, encouraging, and excited to teach. I love the wide variety of areas we receive training in, including forensic psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and ECT.
  • Clinical Interests: Everything! Reproductive/Women's Health Psychiatry, Child psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry
  • Hobbies: petting and talking about my cat (and dogs), listening to podcasts, finding homeless cats and keeping them forever, volunteering as a CASA, Peloton-ing, reading

  • Why did I choose this program? I chose MU because of the close relationships the residents share. The sense of comradery I experienced during my interview was unlike any other program and the residents and staff here have become like family.

  • Why did I choose this program? I chose this program since it had the opportunity to see patients in both rural and urban backgrounds. It also was relatively close to my family and the residents seemed happy to be at Mizzou.

  • Hobbies: I enjoy cooking (especially spicy foods), watching horror movies, building various things, and investing
