  • Why did I choose this program? I lived in the South most of my life and wanted to move to the Midwest for a change. I visited Columbia many times as my husband works here and really loved the college town. Columbia has the small-town charm with all the big city bells and whistles like diversity, hot yoga, orange theory, shops, hiking trails, and good food. When I interviewed here, I was so impressed with how warm, kind and genuine all the attendings, fellows and staff were. Attendings are personable and care deeply about teaching. Faculty mentors invest time in getting to know everyone and really want to see the fellows succeed. Everyone makes you feel at home. Fellows get exposed to numerous and varied areas of Child and Adolescent psychiatry.
  • Clinical Interests: Neurodevelopmental disorders and trauma in children
  • Hobbies: Bollywood/Telugu/Romcom movies, all things fashion/skincare/lifestyle, adventures with my husband and 3 yr old puppy Coco, love to cook and host friends, family.
