Bio

  • Medical School: Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences
  • Why did I choose this program? There’s a good mix of rural as well as not-so-rural patients that are served by the University of Missouri medical system. I have a special interest in the rural populations, and I also love Missouri. I came to the Midwest from Utah (where I was born and raised), and fell in love with the life here. I was fortunate as a 4th year medical student, and I was offered a rotation here. During that rotation, I saw how well the residents got along with each other, and they counted me as one of their own, even though I was only here for 1 month.
