1980-1989
1980 — MU orthopaedic residents and spouses when the University of Missouri Orthopaedic Association was established by Drs. Allen, Gaines, Harper and Gainor.
1983 – post MO Combined Residency Programs Conference softball game. These conferences ran from 1979 to 1987 with residents from SLU, Wash. U., SIU, UMKC, and KU attending.
1984 – cover of the first MU Orthopaedic Program monograph featuring our logo.
1984 – MU orthopaedic resident basketball team competes in League playoffs.
1985 – International symposium program features our Sports Medicine graphic when MU hosts international traveling fellows.
1985 – Softball game after MO Combined Residency Program Conference and Visiting Professorship. This invitational conference/softball game convened from 1979-1987 and included residents from SLU, Wash. U., SIU, UMKC, and KU.
1988 – Faculty Retreat dinner with spouses and chief resident at a Lake of Ozarks family style restaurant.
1989 – UMOA supports 1989 humanitarian project in St. Lucia.
