The Russell D. and Mary B. Shelden Clinical Simulation Center offers programs to improve patient care and safety, explore new research opportunities, and provide lifelong learning experiences to health professionals in all areas of care.

The mission of ThinkFirst is to prevent traumatic injuries through education, research and policy. The award-winning programs of ThinkFirst educate people, especially high-risk young people, about their vulnerability to brain and spinal cord injury, common causes of these injuries, and how to prevent them.

The Translational Biosciences PhD program represents a new paradigm for graduate training in biomedical research. This program will span the entire breadth of the biomedical research spectrum, from basic science discoveries to improved clinical outcomes and population health.
