Tiffany Bowman, MSW, joined ThinkFirst in 2020. Prior to that she worked in harm reduction related to opioid misuse as well as substance prevention. Her background and experience include providing technical assistance for clean indoor air policies to campuses and communities around the state of Missouri, grant project oversight and management and substance harm reduction related to high-risk drinking on college campuses. Bowman has a BS from Missouri State University in Psychology and received her MSW from Mizzou. Her career has been dedicated to public health and safety.
Penny has been with ThinkFirst Missouri since 1985. She currently directs the Community/Corporate Traffic Safety Program, School Assembly Program and Traffic Offenders Program in addition to recruiting and training new VIP speakers.
Deana Dothage (Doe-Hage) is the First Impact representative for Parent Education Programs, a traffic safety program of the University of Missouri’s ThinkFirst chapter. In this role, Deana is responsible for recruiting and training facilitators to present the First Impact GDL education program for parents of new drivers statewide. Deana has a B. S. in Administration of Justice - Policing Option from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. Her career experience includes law enforcement, insurance claims and agency and church office management. Previously, Deana worked at a Regional Planning Commission, where she developed a transportation referral service known as MO RIDES. Under her leadership, MO RIDES expanded from a regional pilot program to one that currently serves the residents of all Missouri Counties.
Becky Lenon joined ThinkFirst Missouri as the Business Office and Grant Manager in April 2018. Her background with Missouri Department of Transportation brings several years of professional experience with grant contracts, budget balancing and distributions. She served as a spokesperson for the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety through MoDOT, a ThinkFirst partner in Highway Safety. Becky owned and operated a weekly newspaper in Macon County, Missouri for over 16 years. In addition to her duties as office manager, she will also be assisting with the monthly ThinkFirst Missouri Traffic Offender’s Program.
