Dr. Emily Leary, Assistant Professor and Director of Orthopaedic Biostatistics, was appointed statistical editor to the editorial board of the Journal of ISAKOS: Joint Disorders and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. JISAKOS is the official journal of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Medicine.
The journal synthesizes the latest research and evidence-based guidelines in orthopaedic sports medicine. Leary joined the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2016. Her expertise includes spatiotemporal statistics and modeling, longitudinal analysis techniques, and individualized prediction models for medical decision-making.
